Injection therapy is a broad term that includes many different types of services and injections. If you know which service is right for you, please schedule for the desired procedure. If you’re unsure which service is right for you, please contact us or schedule a free 15 minute consultation. We will discuss which treatment is right based on your symptoms and goals. All injection services use sterile single use disposable needles. All injection solutions are sterile and purchased from a FDA regulated facility or pharmacy. The price of the procedure will depend on the service selected and the cost of the material being used.
Trigger Point Injection Therapy
Trigger Point Infection Therapy can help to release the tight band of muscle while simultaneously providing the nutrients and hydration the tissues need to heal and recover. Typical solutions can include lidocaine, B complex, 5% dextrose, and homeopathic formulations.
AcuPoint Injection therapy
AcuPoint Injection therapy is the injection of sterile substances at traditional acupoint locations. This can have an added benefit to performing acupuncture. By injecting a sterile liquid into the location, there is a stronger stimulation to the location and the stimulation of the acupoint will last longer than a traditional treatment. An acupoint injection can continue to stimulate the location up to 36 to 48 hours as the fluids are absorbed. General solutions include lidocaine, procaine, homeopathic solutions, or even saline.
Biopuncture is a term that was coined my Jan Kersschot in the late 70’s or early 80’s. It is a procedure that uses homeopathic formulations (usually Heel products like Traumeel, Spascupreel or Zeel) injected into strategic places in order to reduce pain and expedite the healing process. The most common locations are traditional acupuncture points because of their documented protocols for healing specific injuries. This treatment is very similar to Acupoint Injection Therapy (AIT) and is considered to be a treatment style or subset of AIT. The main difference is that Biopuncture uses only homeopathic solutions for injection.
We only use Methyl B-12 (Methylcobalamin) or Hydroxocobalamin, which are the most absorbable forms of B-12. B-12 injections generally help people suffering from low energy or depressive moods. B12 is naturally found in many animal products so people who are vegetarian or vegan may need to have regular supplementation. B12 deficiency can also be found in people with inflammation in their digestive track that are not absorbing nutrients well. B12 is a water soluble vitamin so excess amounts can easily pass through the body.
LipoDen (Weightloss Injections)
LipoDen is a common B Complex injection that is used with people that are trying to lose weight and are eating properly and getting regular exercise. We use a combination of B vitamins and other minerals that help control appetite and stimulate the body for a healthy weight loss.
